Silver Alert Lifted for 71-Year-Old St. Pete Beach Man After He Is Found Safe

Deputies reported that Paul Belyea was last seen around 11:00 a.m. on September 16, 2026, at his home on 245 43rd Avenue.

Belyea stands 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs about 165 pounds. He has brown eyes and long gray hair pulled back into a ponytail. When last seen, he wore blue jeans, grey or tan boat shoes, and a denim shirt styled with a khaki collar and elbow pads.

Investigators noted that Belyea struggles with memory issues. He does not own a vehicle, and deputies say he frequently walks west toward the nearby beach from his neighborhood.

Authorities entered Belyea into the Florida Crime Information Center database as a missing and endangered adult. Anyone who spots him or has information about where he might be should call local law enforcement immediately.
