A Philadelphia police officer was injured in a crash in West Philadelphia on Sunday afternoon while responding to a 911 call. The collision happened around 2:30 p.m. at 50th and Spruce Streets.
Police said the officer and the other driver, a man, were taken to a hospital for treatment after the two vehicles collided in the intersection.
Investigators said the officer suffered minor head injuries.
The other driver’s condition was not immediately known, though officials said he was reported to be in stable condition.
